Description and scope of data processing
Our website uses cookies. Cookies are text files that are stored in the Internet browser or the Internet browser on the user's computer system. If a user calls up a website, a cookie can be stored on the user's operating system. This cookie contains a characteristic string that allows the browser to be uniquely identified when the website is reopened.

We use cookies to make our website more user-friendly. Some elements of our website require that the calling browser be identified even after a page break.

The following data is stored and transmitted in the cookies:

(1) language settings
(2) Items in a shopping cart

Google Analytics
We also use the software tool Google Analytics. In this case, so-called analysis cookies are used, which allow an analysis of the surfing behavior of users. The software places a cookie on the user's computer. If individual pages of our website are called, the following data is stored:

When using the analysis cookies, we use the program function "Activation of IP anonymisation" provided by Google Analytics. However, this will truncate the IP address of Google's users beforehand within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the US and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address provided by Google Analytics as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

We have entered into a contract data processing agreement with Google and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.

Conversion measurement and custom audience with the Facebook Pixel
The Facebook pixel is a JavaScript code that can be used to track and optimize conversions and capture remarketing target groups (custom audience).
Conversion tracking uses the specific tracking code, which is personalized with target indicators, to track users' paths on the website.
Custom Audience is a target group option that allows the website provider to reach people on Facebook who have visited his website. These people can be automatically grouped by the specific actions on the website. This information is transmitted to Facebook via the tracking code.
The Facebook ID is also recorded. We would like to point out that the personal data of individual users is anonymous to us and is encrypted locally on the system. The data is thus forwarded in a secure manner to Facebook, where it is stored and processed. However, Facebook is able to link this to your Facebook account and use it for its own advertising purposes in accordance with Facebook's data usage guidelines. Information about Facebook's data usage policy can be found at: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.
The encrypted data will only be used for the matching process, will not be shared with third parties or other advertisers and will be deleted immediately upon completion of the matching process. You may opt out of using Facebook Pixel at the following page: https://www.youronlinechoices.eu

Facebook Custom Audience with email addresses
Facebook Custom Audiences is a remarketing campaign in which the advertiser uses an algorithm to encrypt the email addresses of its customers collected and used for this purpose and uploads this non-personal checksum (hash values) to the Facebook server. Facebook can compare this transmitted data with its inventory of encrypted user IDs and save the matches in the advertiser's customer account as "Customer Audiences" (= user-defined target group) and advertise in a targeted manner. At the end of the comparison, all uploaded hash values are deleted again.
Further information on the scope of the survey and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook Custom Audiences can be found in Facebook's data protection guidelines, which can be found at https://www.facebook.com/ads/website_custom_audiences/ and https://www.facebook.com/privacy/explanation, among other places. The conditions for custom audiences can be found at https://www.facebook.com/ads/manage/customaudiences/tos.php. You may opt out of collecting and using information for online advertising to specific audiences by following this link: https://www.facebook.com/ads/website_custom_audiences/

Google Custom Match with email addresses
At Google Customer Match, advertisers import their own lists of customer email addresses into their Google AdWords account, which are encrypted using an algorithm. Customer Match compares the anonymized email lists in AdWords with the registered users' own database and can thus create targeted ads within Google Search, YouTube and Gmail and independently optimize campaigns. In addition, Google can track down similar customers with similar interests on the basis of the uploaded user lists.
With the "customer comparison" function, Google creates a central source of information for retargeting customers (i.e. visitors are recorded on one website and addressed again on other websites with targeted advertising). The guidelines for the "customer comparison" function apply to the data provided by the advertiser: https://support.google.com/adwordspolicy/answer/6299717?hl=en.

This website uses Google Remarketing, which is software used to serve interest-based advertisements to users of our websites. Google Remarketing uses cookies (see above). Data processing in this context is based on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DS-GVO. This function can be technically prevented by the user of the web pages by deactivating JavaScript and cookies in his web browser. Details on the necessary settings can be found in the product descriptions and instructions of the various browser providers. Data processing by Google can also be prevented by the user using a browser add-on to deactivate Google. Further information on the terms of use and data protection of Google Remarketing/Adwords can be found at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads?hl=en.
